Highlights...
zach (ny): Is this chat, the way your going to get out of writing a column for today?

SportsNation my favorite podcaster: (10:24 AM ET ) I can never win

Mike (Fairfield CT): If you could take one guy one the Eagles to replace a current member of the Pats for just this one game...would you and why?

SportsNation my favorite podcaster: (10:28 AM ET ) I like Brian Westbroook - he would be a very good third down back and kick returner for the Pats.
bosux191820042090: what kills more is that now more than ever the team needs him[A-Rod] to put it on his back, and he can't...i hate to say this, but if given a choice i would rather have ortiz on my team any day

Thanks for the heads up, Beer Goggles. I would have missed it, and I probably wouldn't have been the only one.

is it just me or did the web page just take a dump and now it's only available on insider?

it does that when Chats are over, you need to have insider to be able to view Chat Trascripts.

Not sure if I should do this, but.... fuck Insider

Sorry to be a killjoy, but we'd really like to avoid cease and desist notices from Disney. I agree with "fuck Insider" in theory, and we wouldn't have any way of knowing if people passed along the chat transcript via private email <hint>, but we need to stay off The Man's shit list. I feel dirty taking the transcript down, and I will now bow my head down in shame. -FTT

Is that what happened mine. Couldn't figure out why it just froze and then said that the chat couldn't be found.

On another note, anyone from the Boston area catch Bill on WEEI this morning. I feel like I have had a Sports Guy morning.

Did anyone get a question in? I tried a few, including one about the possibility of BC riding the Boston championship Mojo to an NCAA title. I'd have loved to see the combination laugh/cringe he pulled if he saw that.

Is your name Brendan?

Brendan (Dedham, MA): Does it kill you, being the Holy Cross grad that you are, to see B.C. at 19-0 right now??

my favorite podcaster: Are you kidding me? I'm delighted! They're going into the Big East tournament at like 29-1, then they'll get killed in Round 2 by some no-name team... then they'll choke on opening weekend. Just remember, when Al Skinner is your coach, that means that Al Skinner is your coach.

My name is Brendan, but I'm not from Dedham (I would have been posting as Brendan (SoSG, Boston))
Although oddly enough, I did ask a question about whether it scared him that BC might ride the Boston mojo to an NCAA title.

I had the follow-up BC question:

Brian (Rocky hill, CT): Bill, why the Skinner bashing? I know HC alums are supposed to hate BC, but Skinner's really not a bad coach. He's done nothing but good things for the program. He's won two regular season Big East titles (and well on his way to a third), one Big East tourney title, and he's been to the NCAAs 4 times in 6 years. Plus he was national coach of the year in '00-'01. How exactly is he a bad coach?

my favorite podcaster: Because I will never forgive him for not being there for his son Dudley after the traumatic near-molestation episode of Diff'rent Strokes.

Tecmo, if you're not Brendan from Dedham, are you Bren from The Apprentice? If so, I like the pseudo-mullet.
